The level of care should not change when someone is under medicaid as opposed to private pay. However when you rely on government benefits your going to lose the choices about where that care is going to be provided and whose going to provide it. Correspondingly from a financial perspective that same level of care is not going to be there. For instance, you will not be in a private room when you're under medicaid.
